After Purchasing 2 Year Shelf Corp?

When purchasing a 2 year shelf corporation are there still things that you should be aware of?

 

I would consider purchasing a 2 year shelf corp but want to know if it would be as easy as some

companies promoting the shelfs corps say.

2 years of age will not buy you much initially. You will still have to start bbuilding with the Net30s. What the age will do down the road is allow you to apply for credit with companies like HSBC and bank LOCs that require a minimum of two years incorporated to be considered.

Be aware that if you want to go after LOC's, you should buy a company with an EIN given around the time is was incorporated, not a new EIN 2 years after incorporation. You have to ask them, they wont tell you.

I don't think that is true, EIN is randomly generated like a serial SSN there is no way to decipher age by the number.

 

What important is your Date of Articles of incorporation and sometimes the date of your business license esp. if you are in another state from your corp.

I cant speak for EIN but I know for a FACT that Social Security numbers arent randomly generated...generally you can deccipher age, and location of birth and other things by the numbers

With SS# you can guestimate age, with EIN you cannot. This is just a rumour once spread by those selling the over priced services.

I just worked out a deal to acquire a company that incd in 1936. So getting a new ein wont cause me any problems right?

Nope. Does the original business already have an EIN? Is the 1936 business a high technology business (Buggy Manufacturer)?
