I just wanted to stir the pot since i just got approved for their visa 5k, but get this uw clld 10 minutes after online app to verify some info and said i was approved for 40k "how much do you want?" she says , wow....i said i'll take 5k....going for refi next summer and i do not need the dti issues....

She says I need to complete a membership form, pdf no online submitting form, my printer's not working so she is mailing...then visa will be mailed.

 

 

check it out guys...my scores aren't so stellar, with the 9/05 disch bk and all , but the other cards they have are great rates, no fees on pertinent stuff and for you guys with better scores will probably get 100k....hee hee

on hindsight i should have for utilization purposes, but can live without ..only a 2k bal on one of my nfcu cards so........

i was in SHOCK. i still am...

but i keep remembering my mortgage guy saying " no new cars" until you refinance because it will mess us your dti? Whatever...does that include credit ...the only installments i have are student loans (current, deferred) and nfcu navck..0bal. dh and i own our cars.

guess what, i just called her back after the shock wore off and i looked at the platinum rate.....if they approved me for 40k ...the only card that offers that high of cl is the platinum...so i called uw back and lm for them if they agree to give me that rate, i'll consider bt my nfcu acct there!

the rate on that classic was like 16%. i will not be fooled.

135kannual (combined of course) they also had an awful lot of mortgage questions.

Congrats!!!! I only have combined income in the mid 80's, so I doubt I could get 40K... although maybe they would match my 30K USAA...

They pull EQ 100% of the time.......no back up. If EQ is unavailable, they will wait til it is available, or deny if they cannot pull EQ.

 

Here is the order.

 

Apply online, if approved then:

 

go to NSA website and apply for the Civilian $35.00 membership

call back JFCU and they will open a Savings account over the phone. Need to deposit the $5 savings account opening deposit with a CC or Debit card............Checking is $25, but not required, only savings.

 

Then you will get the log on info after they open it on the phone, and you can log on right away. Approved Visa's will be online at 12:00 (midnight) the say you are approved.

Also forgot to add they use the same pull for ONLY 30 days. The lady probably thought I was a freak for asking so many questions. LOL

So I wonder if a clean EQ over 700 is enough for 40K then!?!?!?!??!?!??!

I just applied online, asked for $5,000.

 

Came back APPROVED - I dont believe it. We'll see what happens when I call them later. I will have to join the NSA.
