If someone applies for the firestone complete auto care credit card and is approved it says you must go into the store to activate the account. Does this mean it will not report until you do so or just wont be able to use until you go in the store?

Damn you're on a roll lol. See you added Sams and CareCredit since last night, I wonder why they wouldn't just give you the Amazon, must have more strict requirements.

When you log into your account and view your credit limit or credit available, does it show up correctly? The reason I ask is because mine has reported to my CRs just fine, and I never used it as well. Until I decided to use it a few weeks ago, and it turns out your credit limit ( or maybe it was the credit available ) was showing up as zero, until you actually bring it to the store and the rep activates the card with you over the phone.

 

So to answer the OP. Yes, it will report fine. You just cant use the card until you get it activated at the store. Well, at least in my case.

When I log in my credit limit says $0. I emailed a CSR and she assured me my account is still open with the original limit intact. I do plan to use the card soon... Maybe just an air freshener or something... To be sure it stays open and continues to report.

Yes when I set my account up online it shows credit limit 0 which concerned me. So I was approved for $800 you think it will show 800 once reported. Do they report to all 3 and do they report pretty fast?

They report to all three. I don't recall how quickly the new account showed up... It's been almost a year.

Was wondering the same thing about amazon. Got a Sam's and Walmart but no go on amazon. I'm going to B* all these inqs quickly hopefully. I'm using transunionmonitoring.com and smart credit.

That's cool and its nice to know they will report the full amount. The closest place to go I guess is like 80 miles away..
