MCM wording on a letter referring to an At Home account from Synchrony that no longer appears on the CR. The letter from Midland Credit Management says " This letter is to inform you that the above referenced account was sold to Midland Credit Management, Inc. on 02/17/2026. If you have any questions about this account please contact.

My question is is the wording SOLD to my advantage..they never said they owned the account or that it was their account and that I owe them. Does this give me leverage on getting them off the back of the person who received this, and what is the way to do that with this type of account letter? Thank you!
