Still sitting at ~175k in chase limits. Hardly use the highest of them (Hyatt, 95k). Spouse has 120k in limits and rarely uses either card. all I get from chase is preapprovals for Sapphire and invitations to let them manage money (we have zero invested with chase). FWIW, this may be my last year with the JPMR/Palladium card. Just not getting value as I'm mostly flying Delta. crap1 was quick to shrink limits a few years ago and stopped doing high limit combos. Chase recently added in-app "move your limit" option. I closed my 80 and 50k crap1 limits when they stopped combos. No value in their cards for my spending pattern. YMMV. MP80 and ShawnPY1972 2 Quote
supern8ural Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I was just pre-approved for $6k at 17.49% for the Apple Card. Do I accept? I don't think I really need another card, I really was just curious what they'd give me. BUT, diversification is good. There's no SUB for Apple Card is there? the no FTFs is appealing though now that Capital One has bought Discover. Quote

Hege, are you one of the "1% of the 1%"—the ultra-wealthy elite? Your asset position at J.P. Morgan Chase is unique, and the firm has no intention of closing your account; after all, their business objective is to generate profit, not incur losses. The J.P. Morgan Reserve Card—formerly known as The Palladium Card—is far more than just a credit card; it is a symbol of wealth and prestige. Unlike credit cards, where membership is granted based solely on spending habits, the mere threshold for applying for this card requires an applicant to possess at least $10 million in investable assets. This card is available exclusively to clients of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank's wealth management program. The Palladium/Reserve Card is so exclusive that even the American Express "Centurion Card" appears relatively attainable by comparison. Many wealthy cardholders note that the Palladium/Reserve Card exudes a purer "private banking elite" aura—distinct from the "coupon booklet" style of cards that are cluttered with various promotional offers. It operates on a strictly invitation-only basis, is crafted from precious metals, and is inextricably linked to the cardholder's client relationship with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. It's included United Club lounge membership benefit alone serves as a major core attraction for frequent United Airlines travelers. Are you sure you want to close this card? I think you have to reconsider 3 times. Edited March 26 by MP80 quote Quote

brainchasm Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Got my JTV card (Synchrony) to go from $5k to $10k just for asking online. I don't see a hard inquiry anywhere...I was probably frozen across all three when I did it. Good thing they always do the six month 0% deals...34.99% APR is some shenanigans (and no, I never pissed them off...just the nature of the beast I guess). hegemony, ShawnPY1972 and Kat58 3 Quote
