Question for the 'seasoned' posters on this boards, curious as to you insight(s) as to this situation.

Ok, I have student loans owned Navient....those loans are now serviced by Mohela & list Mohela ONLY on my credit reports. Considering the fact of 'kinda persnickity' new WA collection law." does this situation classify, as far as WA law is considered...that Mohela is acting under a the term of a 'debt collector," and likely be subject to the WA Collection Agency Act? Any insight? this could impact a lot of us

I just read today that the federal government is going to start garnishing wages on past due student loans.

If you owe student loans, your best bet is to put the loan into forbearance which should bring it current and put out the payments due at a future time.
