I don’t see a fast merge here either. Airline integrations always look simple on paper, then labor rules, fleets, and systems slow everything down. I watched other carriers promise timelines and miss them by months. Alaska and Hawaiian feel even more complex culturally. I wouldn’t plan credit strategies or mileage moves around an October deadline, because delays feel almost guaranteed.
