I need to work harder at aiming for zero owed / refund. I never know how much I'm going to earn each year so I tend to overpay my quarterlies. 

Between State and Fed I got $16,000 back. 🤷‍♂️

I collect 100% of the interest on my money and the taxing pirates get their booty on or about April 13th each year.

I got $1 back from NC. Normally I owe somewhere between $10 and $40 every year.

 

Got back about $1200 from the feds. I've given up trying to hit $0.
