olywa
So I pulled a copy of my Chex Systems report...which fortunately is up to date, correct, and clean. One thing 'troubled' me. Much like a normal CR, it lists who's pulled a copy of your reports...and breaks them down in to soft vs hard pulls. I have no hard pulls...but I have regularly monthly soft pulls from Transunion which lists they are on behalf of Credit Karma. Ok...I'll admit my idiocy for having CK & I'm certain that somewhere, buried into the agreement I signed up with, I agreed to it. So...kinda wanting to cancel CK after seeing this, as I'm sure this isn't the only place they pulling my info. Any tips on how to end my relationship with CK & also, and more importantly, revoke any agreements that allow for continued pulls of my Chex & who knows else? MP80
Many are tired of seeing Credit Karma pull Experian Bureau and ChexSystems. They (CK) will also pull your DMV driving record to recommend insurance companies to solicit auto insurance to you. A CB member about 6 months ago posted a thread about closing membership and ending the relationship with CK that he referred to TU pulling ChexSystems for CK. He had trouble closing his account, but he eventually managed to close CK successfully. olywa

It seems like it took a long time to close the Credit Karma account.
chrishillson
Closing the account was instant! It just took me a while to get around to it.
