melanie1805 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 I'm considering buying a 10K gold herringbone necklace but wanted to get some opinions first. How durable are they for daily wear? Does 10K gold hold up well, or should I look for a higher karat option? Appreciate any advice! Quote
8ball Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 I have a 10K bracelet that I've been wearing for 30 years. I finally had to have the clasp replaced this year. Allkindabroke 1 Quote
jamied Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 A 10K gold herringbone necklace can be a good pick for wearing every day! It’s pretty sturdy since it has more alloy in it, so it can handle daily wear. Sure, it might scratch a bit, but that’s normal. If you want something fancier and a little tougher, you could look at 14K otr 18K gold. But if you love the 10K look, go for it Allkindabroke 1 Quote
