Train travel

Looking at a live Amtrak map to see where I want to slow travel to next.

I think a train trip would be kinda nice.  I've always wondered about that. If you ever get close to the Tampa Bay area, stop by and say hello.

When I was younger I helped a guy move from Minneapolis to Bozeman Montana. We drove U-Haul's out, skied Heavenly and then took the train back to Mpls. 

I remember it being a looong train ride through North Dakota.

You were riding Amtrak’s Empire Builder.

It was in 1974. You could sit in the bar car and smoke and play cards. Myself and 2 other 18-year-old buddies had a ball that trip.
