Glacier Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 I usually go to my bank when I need their services, as they can notarize most anything. Of course, they then try to get me to transfer investment accounts, mortgages to them. I know how to say NO. Some UPS stores and Currency Exchanges are able to provide Notary Public services, but I find they generally do not/are not willing to notarize any Financial Related documents. Quote
8ball Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 (In MN) at the Title companies the "closers" are Notaries. I imagine this is universal because of Gov. required loan documents. Quote
Sidewinder Posted August 13, 2024 Author Posted August 13, 2024 I was disinclined to go to the UPS Store because there has never been an occasion, when UPS was responsible for delivering a package to me, when they didn't screw it up. Google therefore steered me to this "PostNet" racket in Wayzata, and things looked OK for a second until their website made a reference to their "licensed notary publics[sic]." I ended up getting this done at the BMO branch on Wayzata Boulevard. No charge either, I guess since I'm a accountholder there. Being a BMO customer is confusing. Quote
