Folks:   I appreciate so much the kind words and thoughts.  On April 23rd 2024 I had to be transported to the ER.  I was in septic shock with an acute kidney injury, massive infection that completely occluded the entire right lobe of my liver, and I caught pneumonia despite having two prior vaccines for pneumonia.

When I woke up to tubes and collection bags surrounding me,  I had no idea what had been done to me.  I went to ER yesterday to insist the drains and tubes be removed.  So I got stuck full of more needles and a radiologist had to remove the drain lines which had been in for three months.

I am still battling extreme fatigue, but I am home.  I still try to help out here as my energy level allows.

Thank you ALL for the kind thoughts.

Hang in there...I know all too well the whole waking up with more wires and tubes than a car on the rack...so say nothing of being gutted like a fish...

Hopefully your stuff works out...

Happy Valentines Day and I love you all.. and my Valentines is my cat, Goldie. She's the last of the female cat friends I had.. and she's still ticking, likes to snore... but, I'd like to interrupt to ask.. Is Mr. Marvin "The Last Of The Admins" Hendricks okay? I made a movie reference lol.

We all know Marv likes Bears. But he has to be okay first to keep that persona! Then he can be all the bears.

I hope MarvBear is doing alright! Praying for ya, Marv!

An update would be much appreciated!  Praying that the prognosis is copacetic ...

I am ok. I have been out of hospital for a while now and all tubes removed.     Still no medical reason or diagnosis as to what caused the infection.   I don't remember much about that night or being in the hospital.

I become very easily fatigued, so I tend to rest a great deal. I must back to Dr at the end of the month for another checkup.

I am FURIOUS that Joe aka Goku4 would attempt to expose my name on a public message board.

AND

He even got it wrong.  Both of which are unforgivable in my judgement.

What does the membership base recommend the actions I take.

Sorry that I missed that you were in the hospital completely -- and I'm glad you're OK now.

I didn't see his specific post. And of course I don't know your living situation either. But I could imagine there is an extra level to the stupidity of telling people that someone is sick and away from their home. It always bugs me when people post on their Facebook that they are on vacation.
