Is there a list of banks that will forgive your credit past with them?

What types of negative credit to they forgive? repayment in full?  settlement offers, etc.

Thank you

Most will eventually forgive. Some have very long or permanent memory of past transgressions.

With that said, years ago, I burned the the who's who of card issuers. Eventually I have gotten back in with all of them, and them some. Not one penny was ever repaid. Not proud of that though.

Who have you burned?

How long has it been since you burned them?

What is reporting on your credit reports, if any thing?

A little more detail and we can maybe give you a ballpark if you have a chance, or what you need to do to have a chance.

American Express has a very long memory and will forgive with payment in full.

I don't know if Amex still offers it but they had a program called Oasis and if you stick to the agreement you make with the Oasis department they give you an optima card upon the last payment in full with no qualification.

Probably the most forgiving issuer, IMHO, is CapOne.  They approved me for a $2K QS1 in 2015 when I still had an unpaid CO from them on my reports.

Amex let my wife back in after 8 years, and she had burned them for over $7K and never paid them back.

Credit Unions generally blacklist forever unless you pay them back in full.
