Lawyer says you can Get inquiries removed from your personal report because it's a BUSINESS card.

I spoke to a consumer protection lawyer who told me more and more people are getting inquiries removed because the banks have business bureaus they can pull from. Yet they still pull a HARD inquiry under the guise of a business card.

 

I understand it's all in the fine print but this is what I'm told it works. As it is they're under fire right now for deceptive trade practices and excessive fees.

 

IMO they do take advantage of the average business owner's ignorance of the difference between corporate credit and business credit. Some don't figure it out until they default.🤧

That's just it. It's not if it's removed because it doesn't belong there. That's only for fraud.

If you are discussing business credit, we have a separate forum specifically designed for that purpose.  If your company/corporation were to apply in its own name, then YOUR NAME AND OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION would never have been supplied or used.
