I have a system in place that I've fine tuned for my needs. A question I get asked all the time..........what's the best credit card to help me travel like you do? My response is simple. There is no single card that is the best. There is no group of cards that is the best. You should however instead be asking what are the best cards for "me", that will help me travel cheaper.

 

It's no different with the various cash back apps like Swagbucks, Rakuten, etc.

 

Got to figure out what's bet for you and your goals. Everything I do credit wise is setup to help me vacation multiple times a year, with little out of pocket.

That does make sense, and answers questions I didn't know I had about your points posts.

I have never used any of the shopping portals before.
I have looked in to Rakuten several times, but always walked away thinking "But that is for MR points and MR is travel."

 

The reason for the swagbucks question was:
I was about to open a checking account with USB and thought "Wonder if there are any bonus on this."
Found an $85 click-thru offer for the USB checking at swagbucks and they didn't want a sample of my blood so figured it was worth trying.
So after I was done clicking-thru and opening the new checking I wondered what your swagbucks amount was.
I got here and said "WHAT!? The penny pincher has no Swagbucks!?!"
