With 130 million members, I don't know how many have/will apply to be part of the class action, but with a $3 million settlement I think you'll be lucky to buy a taco at Taco Bell with it.  Credit Karma's website that shows your chances of being approved makes no sense to me. With my near-perfect FICO I see loads of "poor" next to a lot of banks, except for ones that look like Credit Karma is pushing. Nothing seems to have changed. Having to fork up $3 million is just the cost of doing business.

No doubt that individuals will get very little.  But, I do think it's noteworthy that while it's discussed here and other similar places, now the word is out to the general public that CK's recommendations are not as reliable as they'd like you to believe.

I may regret writing this, but my reaction is, "paltry settlement for (largely) paltry minds that permit themselves to be led by the nose ring by CK, as if CK had established itself (by any means) as some type of lending authority.  It's clear that CK was little more than a lending shill, from the "get go""
