Reading this thread reminded me how important it is to document everything with medical billing. I’ve faced a “bait-and-switch” scenario too—was quoted one amount, then billed triple. It’s frustrating how long these issues can drag out. What helped me was filing complaints with my state’s insurance board and CFPB. Persistence and records make all the difference when fighting these.
