They often can happen. Twice I've ordered a Sausage McMuffin and McDonald's placed a hamburger patty in it. They're not bad. Maybe they should add it to their menu.

 

In-N-Out, known for good burgers also screws up. Recently they gave me a cheeseburger with just lettuce and a burger in it. Nothing else. I think they gave me a burger meant for a parent's small child.

 

In-N-Out also has given me old and cold burgers. Another disappointment. The problem is I don't feel like lining up in the long drive-thru line again. It's kind of difficult to check in the bag before leaving the drive-up. I've called or entered complaints online. What they do is send a couple gift cards each worth one meal on a future visit.

The best cheeseburger I've ever had was from "Clown Alley," a fast-food joint in San Francisco at the intersection of Jackson Street and Columbus Avenue, one block from the Transamerica Pyramid. 

 

The burger patty is char-grilled and embodies the smell and taste of hickory smoked, just what you would expect a burger to taste, great in a natural campfire style.

 

It's been so long; this place must be closed by now. I'm now willing to pay $20 for a Clown Alley cheeseburger. 

 

Since then, no other brand of cheeseburger has appealed to me. The only burger I would consider eating is a McDonald's filet.

I checked. Clown Alley is closed. Opening a restaurant now in the downtown S.F. financial district would be tough. Everyone is remote working. I was in S.F. in December. Downtown looked dead, even though it was a weekday. Tadich Grill is still open. I've had some good fish there.

A large gap between the rich and poor. Homelessness is increasingly climbing to such an unmanageable level that it's almost like the "ghetto" (Skid Row) neighborhoods of downtown Los Angeles if you know what it is.

If you're a big fan of burgers, I can assure you that the Cheeseburger at Clown Alley is one of those burgers you definitely don't want to miss in your life, and I'm talking about it right now, even though I've just had dinner, as soon as a mention like this Burger, my drool is still dripping.

 

And by no burger, I mean no burger that smells and tastes like Clown Alley's unique homemade burger recipe.

 

I can give you a practical comparison, the optimal freshness and taste of the "Burger King Whopper" will be close to 50% of the burger at Clown Alley, so, you already know how good this burger really is.

My plate runneth over once thanks to Taco Bell. Ordered two bean burritos. Get to the window. I paid for said burritos. They in turn hand me a 10 pack of crunchy tacos, 2 burrito supremes, and one taco salad.

 

Aprox. 24 hours later, my toilet runneth over. I have a strong constitution, that's why it took so long.

Ordered a mcdouble

.. Received a burger outside the bun with the condiments between the bun....

After this I sincerely believe some people are too "special" to make burgers
