The story of my BofA dispute

I transferred some dough (the exact amount I've earned from BankAmerideals lately) from checking to savings.

 

However, the transaction posted to the checking account as a "Transfer;" and on the same date, an equivalent amount was debited from the same checking account, posting as a "Debit."

 

I called to ask about this, the rep declared his own cluelessness about fourteen times (I came to suspect that this was like, light S&M for him) and then opened a case with their technical folks.

 

I have a case number and everything.

Years ago I did an ACH transfer from B of A to another bank (an ACH push). I checked a bit later and the transfer was marked as "Failed," but I got credited the same amount to my checking account like I pulled money to my B of A account. The account at the other bank never showed any transaction. It wasn't for much but I expected the error to be corrected. It never did. I never bothered to tell them. "Community Chest - Bank Error in Your Favor - Collect $200."
