StantheMan
I have three Amex cards. An Everyday with a 20k limit, Blue Cash Everyday 25k and a gold downgraded from Platinum last year. Thinking about a Delta card that is pre approved however I’d rather not have to go through a financial review simply because I don’t like sharing my tax returns for not necessary credit. I read and hear so many versions as to what triggers these reviews it’s difficult to know what’s accurate or is it simply luck of the draw. Never carry a balance on any card. Thx for any feedback. hegemony
I have not heard of a true amex FR in years (that doesn't mean they are not happening). Don't conflate a FR with a simple request for tax transcripts. For instance, if you ask for a CLI and it results in amex asking for transcripts -- that is NOT a FR. Amex will not let you ignore an FR while the request for transcripts I described in the prior sentence can be ignored with no repercussions. I doubt amex will subject you to a true FR for responding to a pre-screened offer. The worse case for you is amex THEFTS some of the limit from your other amex credit cards. hdporter

Rorer_714
Amex FR's are still going on as we speak. In your situation there would be no reason for a FR. StantheMan
