How to remove this medical collection?

Never had a medical collection before. How can we remove this?

Thank you @Why Chat. This is for my spouse. 

 

Yes, it is my spouse's and we had medical insurance which is why I'm perplexed this even happened. So many times I've received medical bills having to correct them by telling them to resubmit this to the insurance company. This is one that obviously slippped through the cracks. 

 

I will read your links but now that you know it's our and we had insurance, any other advice?

Get your EOMBs (explanation of medical benefits) from your insurance Co. Look to see if the name of the OC provider on this collection is listed on any of the invoices.

 

If this particular claim was never submitted AND you cannot get it deleted from your reports with the dispute letter let us know and we will give you the correct response to file with the proper authorities.

 

On the other hand, if it WAS submitted and WAS paid then let us know and we will provide the correct complaint to file against the provider and the CA.

Had the deductible been satisfied at the time of the billing?  

 

I'm currently dealing with the small stuff from the pre-chemo session blood work where I see bills for between $80-$100 every two weeks.  Deductible hasn't been satisfied yet plus the plan I have turns out to be a real PITA...
