Holding in the 800’s. Spouse is now in the high 700’s, her Experian is 799.

Very grateful for all I learned from Credit Boards. No mortgage, 740K in credit card credit, <2% utilization, paying an extra $740 a month on a car loan.

Now what? Any hard to get cards I need to look at?

My only late is now over two-year old.

Cheers.

740k in available credit limit?? Thats amazing, congratulations. I'm very much interested to see the recommendations you get on which 'hard to get' cards you should look into next.

You sure there's a 30DL reporting? I don't believe it's possible to clear 800 with any lates, let alone one 2 years old.

See the master threads I bumped.

Thanks man, I found it. I am currently analyzing it. I have a question though about a spreadsheet in the file, But I don't want to hijack the OP's thread so I will start my own.

True, but the basic metrics of how the lates hurt are similar. It hit you about 100-125 points and then you slowly build back up over time, but until the last day it falls off, you're still stuck at 775 range max.

Naturally the OP could be talking about a score based on 900, which would mean a 100 pt hit, lessened after 2 years could put you over 800.

Is there a bracket for the Age of credit? Do you think hitting 800 is even possible with AAOC less than 6 years?
