A Credit Ed
My CL with Amazon/Synch was $9,900. It's been 8 or 9 months since my last CLI request, so I asked for $15,000. They gave me an extra $100, bringing my line up to $10,000. centex, MarvBear and TheVig
Admin MarvBear Posted May 31 Admin Share Posted May 31 I'm sorry I had to laugh at that. My goodness at the generosity!
centex
Wonder if that means $10K is the current cap...my PPBC has been stuck there for a while. But I can also see other reasons they wouldn't raise mine more...I might run $10 a month through there.

My wife's Synchronazon card has a $10K limit and we requested a CLI for her. Declined. I'm going to wait another six months, then ask for a CLI to $10,100 and see what happens. I run anywhere from $0 to $500 for my monthly Amazon purchases. My wife rarely goes above $100 a month. centex and MarvBear
shifter
Is there still a good backdoor number to reach the Synchrony Sr UW? That used to be the best way to get larger CLIs. Sidewinder and Kat58

A Credit Ed
Received my "reason we declined you" letter. I think we can posit that $10,000 is the max for the Synchonazon card. Quote Synchrony Bank has reviewed your recent request to increase the credit line on your account. A credit line of $10,000 has been established, unless you declined the partial increase. We regret that we were unable to approve the higher credit line you requested. The reason(s) for our decision are listed below: • The requested amount exceeds the limits set by our credit policy MarvBear
kevinas
Are there hard pulls on CLI request? Also, which card offer initial higher limits
A Credit Ed
Always a soft pull. I don't remember our starting limits, but they were not very high - maybe $1500 for me and $3000 for my wife?
