ChristeyHawk
My husband and I are about to close escrow on our house next Tuesday. We want to do a mini app spree after closing and then garden for a few years. Looking for suggestions. My credit profile: 6/24 678 EQ- 680/EX -704 TU I have 2 cards at over 80%, 1 card at 40%. Plan to PIF, except 25 left on 1 right after close. I have CSP, AmEx, 2 Discover, 2 Cap 1. I was thinking Citibank or Chase in branch for Freedom or Freedome Flex. I have only 7 months with chase, I use the whole limit and PIF monthly. Hubby has 2 cards 2/24 Cap 1 200/3000 Overstock 0/300 And AU on my CSP. His scores are 696 EQ/ 704 TU / 686 EX I was going to send him a csp referral...other than that not sure what would be a good card. We are planning to remodel the guest house which we estimate to be 25kish, so a 0% apr card with rewards would be great. Thanks!
Glacier
If the 6/24 is how many accounts you've opened in the last 24 months, then not sure you can get another Chase Card. They usually don't approve if you are over 5 new accounts in 24 months (5/24). insolent1, DebtFreeIn04 and Journeyjeans 1
insolent1
In this economy, close on the house and forgo sprees. That is a very thin file and aside from the likely auto denial from Chase [search for 5/24 rule]. Take your time and build age. hegemony
