whatishappening
Hello, I'm going in circles and figure someone here might be able to help me understand/decipher. I have a $660 bill from the physical therapy office. I went regularly from March - May 2015 (2.5 months). My last date of service was 5/26/2015. The collection agency reports: Date Assigned: Aug 2018 DOFD: April 2016 (11 months after my last appointment) Insurance sent payments to billing after my last DOS but I didn't make any payments. Is the DOFD (Experian is the only place it's reported - other credit reports say it will come off CR in Jan 2023). If it is incorrect, what can I do? I don't know if I can dispute it or if that is a good idea. I would love for the DOFD to be May 2015 b/c that means it's it's reached the end of the 7 years on my credit report (I'm in Connecticut) Thank you in advance!! Why Chat
The date of assignment to the CA is irrelevant. Follow the guides; https://whychat.me/GUIDEBOOK.html Opting out will help prevent your data from being sold to data miners, who in turn sell to JDBs (junk debt buyers) who love to poison reports . In your case all you have to do is to send Experian this; https://whychat.me/hipaadisp.html
