Hi CB

i currently have the Platinum and Quicksilver cards. The Platinum was from when I was trying to establish credit because I hadn’t had any credit in over 6 years at the time.
They have never increased my limit in 2 years so I’m kinda over it.

i’m interested in the Venture X card. I was told and read somewhere once that you can only have 2 Cap 1 cards… is this true?

Should I close the Platinum to get the Venture X or is it possible to do a product change? If it is possible to change the card over, what’s the likelihood of them upping my limit under the new Venture card considering they wouldn’t for the subprime Platinum?

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

I have 5.  A qs1, 2 qs, 2 platinum.  Cls  are 5, 6, 7, 10, and 10k. Cap one was one of my first when rebuilding.... they kept approving, and I kept applying.  I think the 5 or 7k limit used to be 12, but was slashed due to lack of use

Supposed to be 2 under normal conditions. But I have 2 and they just sent me a pre-approved offer for another.
