That sucks .... I don't have a Centurion card and the offer isn't available on the cards I do have so I didn't dig much into it.

Looks like another way to claw back your own money on the Platinum.  It's not listed as a benefit on my account (yet).  

 

They may be rolling this out in waves, or Reddit is wrong,  🤯
