Now I feel left out. I'll go back decades when Wells Fargo bought First Interstate Bank. I had a Balance Plus line of credit with First Interstate. Wells Fargo closed it because they offered no such product. I'm sure thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of these accounts were closed for other customers. There was no uprising back then. No riots, people wanting to burn down some Wells Fargo branches, etc. They closed the accounts and that was it. Maybe I can get the account reopened with the opening date backdated. 😕

I had mine reopened. It still reports as closed on my credit reports, but it is definitely open. Not sure if they will start reporting it as open and I am not about to risk a fook-up on their part by asking them to report it as re-opened.

I have a Wells Fargo bank account and have considered opening up a business CC.  However, it seems they have automated the credit application process so much that a customer service agent could not tell me much about what criteria I would need to meet.
