Medical collection from 2 years ago? Phoenix Financial Ser

Recommended Posts

Wife was in an accident, and her attorney handled everything.

Her attorney called the hospital and paid off every debt. There was a bill that the hospital said they couldn’t find no record of that debt.

Fast forward 2 years, Phoenix Financial Serv from Indianapolis placed a collection.

I already disputed with Experian and it got verified.

I have not sent any debt validation letter, I’m afraid they might sue.

The amount is $3,500. and to our memory never received any paperwork. Could be wrong tho.

Has anyone ever communicated with these collection, are they likely to sue for $3,500.?

Follow the guides;

https://whychat.me/GUIDEBOOK.html

https://whychat.me/GUIDE HIPAA PROGRAM.html

Send the CRAs where the account is reporting this;

https://whychat.me/hipaadisp.html

If you received a collection letter from a CA but it is NOT reporting, send them this;

https://whychat.me/ltrcavalhipaa.html

They can not file suit for an account that they have not been originally assigned by the OC hospital. Ask your attorney to send you copies of the paid bills.

Hey WhyChat, thanks for replying.

Thats where were confused, the attorney was informed by the hospital that there was a bill that they couldn’t find paperwork to. Then all of a sudden they find it, it’s almost like they made charges up.

Update: Credit Karma just updated my wife’s report.

Equifax deleted this medical bill.

I never disputed with them, weird.

Transunion shows the account closed, but didn’t delete. I have not disputed with Transunion.

Experian still reports this, and I did dispute with them.

Does this mean that they can’t validate and I should send them a letter and make it more of a fight?
