HD Supply Net30 Approved no PG 1 month in business

Recommended Posts

I started up my LLC a month ago, I did everything to get my business verifed and ready to start applying for Tier 1 net30 accounts. So far i have been approved for:

HD Supply White Cap $1000

Grainger $1000

EBarnett $500

Crow Office

Summa office

Murphy USA Fleet card: 500 deposit

Strategic Network Solutions $2000

HD Supply typically dose not approve business like mine with 0 establised credit, I'll share how i got my business approved:

Instead of filling out a application online, go to your local HD Supply and ask for a business card of a sales rep, email them and let them know you are a new business and you want to open a small credit line(net30) to help start establishing business credit for your company. They sent me the form i filled it out and sent it back over to them, one of the sales rep asked me scince I have 0 accounts reporting to my credit at the moment if i could provide them with a bank statment for my company. Before i even got the chance to email them back i got a email from the credit department that i have been approved for $1000 credit line. The sales rep told me if you apply online the application get lost in the system and when you apply through email with a sales they can push your applicaiton through the credit department.

Does anyone have any other net30 accounts they know of?

Also does any one know if you can use a business cell phone plan as your verified business phone number in the 411 directory? right now I am using Vonage but I want to get a Verizon business cell phone

Welcome to Creditboards!

We hope that you find what you're looking for here.

Some helpful tips:

  • Your post may not get a reply right away. Don't be discouraged, this is a very busy board. If it falls off of the first page, feel free to reply to your post yourself, with the word *bump* in the text. This will *bump* your post back up to the top of the board.
  • If you haven't yet, take a peek at out Newbies Section. Everything that you need to know is in that forum, for the most part. It's a lot of reading, we know, but this credit stuff can have a steep learning curve. In no time, you'll be posting like the pros!
  • If you find that someone is discourteous to you, use the REPORT button at the top right of every post - that will ensure that a moderator or admin looks at the post and decides if it is against the TOS.
  • Off -topic posts should go in the General Forum.

Again, welcome to the CreditBoards family!

So you can also try the following:

Supply Works (but I believe they are also part of ebarnett/HD Pro)

For your phone. You should have a typical VOIP or POTS line for your business. Personally, I use grasshopper, which rolls to my cell phones. Has a nice auto attendant, can add additional users as you grow. Fairly inexpensive, and just works. I also have Verizon, make sure when you sign up, you get a business account properly setup. Was a nightmare for me, as mine was originally setup as a consumer line w/ a business EIN....problematic.
