Two different accounts reporting on same account with different amounts?

Need some help or a sample letter to dispute.

 

I have progressive reporting one amount on my credit report, they also sent account to a collection agency who is also reporting on the account with a different amount. How can I go about challenging for removal?

Progressive as in the insurance company?  If so, more detail is needed, to include whether this is related to a claim paid out...because if that was in play, your entire ability to drive is ALSO in play here given how many States look at defaults related to insurance.

also, never use a letter you found on the internets. always use your own words that provide details on your specific situation.
