Orman also wishes the millennial hadn’t splurged on a BMW, which sets her back $720 a month. In addition to the car payment, Gonzalez spends about $90 on gas, putting her monthly transportation costs at $810. “What you deserve is a life of financial independence, not some car,” Orman says.

Everything about this paragraph is stilted and awkward.

Suze O. said nothing about her $550 year Amex Platinum card that's she relying on to travel to Europe "free" next year with points.  I've used points to pay for parts of trips, but nothing is free.  I've never owned a BMW.  The closest I've been is to be a passenger in some.

The transportation category is misleading, because it excludes insurance.

Why is she paying for life insurance?  She's 24, single and renting.

Insurance: $367

Gonzalez pays just $20 a month for health insurance through work, and her dental and vision plans are free. She and her boyfriend also split pet insurance for their dog and pay $20 each.

Her car insurance bundle is $327 a month, and it includes two life insurance policies (one for her and one for her mom).
