One in Eight Supermarket Employees in the U.S. Now Has Access to Their Money as They Earn It (DailyPay)

It’s pretty bad. My understanding of this is that employers will do it if turnover is high, shifts can be added or cut short at the drop of a hat or there might be high drama over getting fired.

If I had to deal with some of the employees I’d seen at some places I’d be daily paying too.

My credit union gives me access to my paycheck two days early.  Does this mean I can now get paid before I do the work?

If you're like most companies you already worked those days a couple weeks before your paycheck arrives.
