Navient Not Reporting..... Equifax

Recommended Posts

My student loan payments were in forbearance for a while last year, now I’m back to making my regular scheduled payments but I notice none of my accounts with Navient are showing up on my Equifax credit report. I called Navient they told me to send all credit reporting issues to a snail address..... Does anybody know what else I can do, to get them to report to Equifax?

No I have not, both accounts have perfect payment histories, which is why I’m upset their not reporting to Equifax.

It is not worth being upset about.  Hidden debt is NOT a bad thing.  It just isn't.  It is one of the reasons some used to flock to the biz cards back in the day...

The absence of the tradeline might be costing you seven to ten points...it would be on par with a vehicle loan.  The boost some imagine by adding the line simply isn't accurate...so, again...don't lose sleep over it.
