Lili - Caters to self employed / freelancers. You must indicate you are when opening the account.

Have card in hand and have moved via ACH 2K to them with no problems. 

Only online access is via their app

M1 Cash Management

 

This is a brokerage account that has a unique way of allowing you to invest.

They offered me the cash management account via email. (Their checking account)

I do have over 40K invested their. You mileage may vary.

I am not a M1 plus customer at this time. If I ever need to use a margin loan

that may change.

M1 sounds something like the Betterment account I opened. I don't have much with them but it includes a robo-advisor type account that allocates ETFs and and an account with a debit card.

 

I recently opened a checking account with State Farm Bank (I have my homeowners insurance with them). I think they did a Chex but no credit hard inquiry. I'm waiting for my debit card. I'm unsure whether the debit card will be red or silver/gray. Depending on the color I plan on applying for either their points or low interest credit card. I will apply for the card with the opposite color. I know this is weird, but I need variety in my card collection. :)
