Fake Friend Requests Getting Out of Hand on Facebook

Recommended Posts

I'm being inundated with them. They create profiles of someone who is already your friend or someone totally fake. An ongoing theme is they're professionals in finance, money management and/or cryptocurrency/bitcoin.

I'm getting tired of this scamming but Facebook does little. It's happening so much I'm tempted to inactivate my account. It's destroying the platform. Enough is enough.

Be careful. It's getting more and more difficult to tell what you see on Facebook is real or fake. I've been fooled myself. You might need to unfriend some fake accounts yourself.
