I got tired of Flyertalk as it became one post after another on how to earn more points.  To me, it just isn't worth the effort.  I have better things to do.  I can come in on a Saturday at work and get paid a day of time and a half.  That's much more efficient use of my time then spending all my free time trying to earn some extra points on a crappy airline.

This was actually easy enough to do that it took, almost no time at all to do. You could easily get 1M+ miles a year just by churning the Citi AA cards. And it’s been going on for about a decade.
Although no amount of miles can make AA a decent airline.

The woman on the video mentioned ThePointsGuy website, like this is part of the problem, yet credit card companies are eager to advertise points/miles sign-up bonuses on the same site. Go figure.

Anyway, travel is work. I've done my share of overseas trips. Redeem miles for stuff you want to do, not because some mileage award to some distant place is great.
