AU address on my CR

Recommended Posts

I'm on my dads cards as an AU. Unfortunately those cards utilize his physical address which is in a different state. Now that address is showing up as mine on my credit reports.

Is it typical for this to happen and how difficult would it be for me to get it off of there since it is tied to his cards.

So how do I remove it. He's getting mail for me now through that address. My opt out apparently doesn't work across addresses somehow...

I could forward the mail from a PO perspective, but really doesn't address the issue.

I added my parents as AUs on our AAdvantage Executive card so they can use Admirals Clubs when they travel.

Every couple of weeks they receive at least one piece of mail each from Capital One at our Mudland address.

The offers are for starter cards.  I'm beginning to think that they now have two files each at at least one of the bureaus.

I’m an AU on one of my mom’s cards. So her address gets reported to my files. When I first noticed this, I disputed the address as not mine. It was deleted from all files. Then the card reported the address again and the address was back. Disputed again and removed. Then added back again by the creditor.

So now I just deal with the weekly “I have mail for you. Should I open it?” phone call from her.

It would appear as long as you are an AU on an active trade line, the address is going to get reported.
