watching money die... Is This Reverse Stock Split the Kiss of Death for Blue Apron?

Why pay a premium for food (that you still have to cook) delivery when your local grocer can deliver the same stuff for less?

The stuff is pre-chopped, pre-measured, etc.

I tried Blue Apron and another similar service.  These are not convenient meals to prepare.  The mountain of dirty skillets, pans, etc., that results can be astonishing.

I also hated having 1-5 meals' worth of perishable ingredients in the refrigerator.  With an often uncertain schedule, I was always wondering if mold was growing on one or more of the dinners I intended to prepare but so far hadn't found the opportunity...

And once you're down to the final meal in the delivery, well... that's what's for dinner tonight, because that's all that's left.

Finally, if you are like me and are > 6'2" and 210# of doughnut oil, one "portion" is laughably unsatisfying.

I do not understand this niche at all.
