Can I lease a 3rd and 4th car?

Recommended Posts

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a regular FICO of ~730, no lates but about 50% credit card util.  Perfect decades long payment history of credit cards and car loans and leases.  I have a car lease for me and a car lease for my oldest daughter in my name.  My wife has a lease for her and for our oldest son in her name.

I'd like to lease two more cars for my next two kids

Is that possible?
And if so, my first two leases are VW credit, would I be better off trying to go with them again or somebody else?  I'd really like to lease two more Jettas.

My DTI adding two new leases of $250 each would be 27%.  DTI uses gross income, right?  Also, that 27% doesn't include property taxes (which I don't pay with my mortgage) nor home or car insurance.  With those added in it is more like 38%.

I'd suggest you and your wife apply jointly for the next two vehicles, and simply provide a copy of each child's drivers license.

Should be OK, would be my bet.
