BofA does single HP for multiple apps

Recommended Posts

I learnt that BofA does not do multiple HPs for multiple credit card. It uses the last HP within 30 days per Customer Service rep.

I put in 3 apps for business credit cards in a one week period, they did only one HP

BTW Chase and US Bank said they would do a new HP for each app:

Amex did not HP, used my SP off personal card for 2 business apps.

inquiries don't matter

Don't apps get rejected sometimes for too many inquiries ?

Let's say you smell like rotting garbage and have trouble pronouncing "sesquicentennial."

You aren't having trouble getting a date because of your diction.

Rejected by Barclays for Business Credit Cards. Said credit report is good but 5 inquiries within this month is aggressive credit seeking. Pls apply again after a while.

Scores are 740ish.

I ran $60k through my Barclays Aviator Silver in about 8 months last year.

They turned me down for a CLI because they wanted to see more usage on the card.

FICO 8s have been 825-850 for the past couple of years.

This might actually be true. "Usage" in Barclay-Speak probably means "taking advantage of your generous credit limit to finance a revolving balance at Barclays' low, low, interest rates."

Instead they see a deadbeat who hasn't paid a dime in interest in 10 years and just canceled out the exchange fees on $60k by spending in the wrong categories.
