Get a Coupe. Going to be interested when and what car you actually select, cv. I'm enjoying the CVT myself. cv91915 and hegemony
Lander
Now, let us gaze into thy crystal ball.. how many pages will debate what a Coupe is vs. Two door sedan (two doors is usually a couple to me, unless a truck or convertible. Carry on) and then back to Subarus. Turbos 4 Life. cv, loving what car you will select. Have to do see just how far I can go on a tank of gas in this thing. It flies. Life is good. Money is good. Leases are cool. I can even send texts from the steering wheel with my voice. Yee ha! Have a wonderful night, cant be late for work. https://www.edmunds.com/nissan/maxima/

A deal is a deal...given a choice, I have no problems with a diesel over a gasser and the reality is that it is a fuel that is hardly scarce. 20 or 30 years ago, it could sometimes be a challenge to find a station that had a small nozzle for the cars (the truck stops usually had the much larger nozzle to go with the high flow pumps). For someone like me that drives A LOT, the extra range that comes with the mileage of a diesel combined with the often-longer life powertrains, I always liked the little VW's. I just never saw one equipped the way I wanted when I was looking to buy another toy...but I had even looked at one of the old Rabbits that would get close to 60MPG on the biodiesel. Potential resale is not an issue for me since I tend to be a buy and drive till it dies sort of consumer...although I am often buying new since I don't trust the people who buy and flip every couple of years- they tend to be horrid at maintenance. Vehicles with a history of scandal can lead to some real steals being out there...could be an issue for getting financing, but for the cash buyer, financing is a moot point. And since the misreporting and manipulation didn't deal with safety, insurance shouldn't be a factor... So,,,borrowing from Jalopnik...gotta go with NICE PRICE. I'm sure some would still vote crack pipe though...

cv91915
Wheel alignment... I need to have this done. Is this a high-precision operation that is only really done correctly by a limited number of places, or do I just pick a place because the price seems fair and the location is decent? With some vehicles, any alignment shop can set the tie-rods and wheel camber. Other vehicles require a precision alignment of all four wheels or you'll chew through tires at an alarming rate. The front tires are wearing badly on the edges and I have to drive this death trap again for a week, starting tomorrow. Absent any feedback I think I'll drag it back up to the Infiniti dealer. They've been great, and they price match anybody for the tires.

IndyPoolPlayer
When that truck rolled across the stage, I was expecting to hear the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra playing the theme music to Battlestar Galactica, and maybe someone dressed in a Cylon warrior costume to come out of the vehicle.
