This guy mostly blogs on color science topics but all his posts are riven with humor. Much like the title of this piece:

Why all the problems with Math?

Nine out of every seven adults have trouble with fractions. It's a sad, but true, statistic.

Problems with stories
Glen had five story problems and Gail had six migraines. If the hypotenuse went on sale for 30% off, then how long would it take Glen and Gail to go crazy together? Story problems are the source of much anxiety. It is a little known fact that story problems led to the Crimean War. Absolutely true. And story problems also caused the bubonic plague.

There is method to his madness.

Happy New Year Everyone!

There's lies. Then there's statistics.

Yeah. The problem with statistics is that you can often select something that is technically true to support a position even though a more complete set of info might tell a different story. I see this a lot when some group or other with an agenda commissions a poll. And then there's confirmation bias....  The world is a complicated place.

And then there's "scientific studies" where you might be shocked to find the result of said study favors the group or company funding the study in the first place.

Those in search of grants know who butters their bread.  I thank the gods I didn't get sucked into the academic route.
