Incident in TX over MS Gift Cards

This incident is from over 3 years ago... I think someone switched date on the blog post. accidentally or not.

I am glad someone picked up on that...I had noticed that the tweets referenced in there were from 2016.  A common tactic of some bloggers is to change with an 'updated' date so they get more eyeballs/clicks.

As to the underlying issue, it would not surprise me if they had chosen a location noted for getting lots of druggies and stolen cards.  Wally world is a COMMON location for the criminal element that makes part of their living from shoplifting.  As such, the loss prevention staff are always on high alert for anything out of the ordinary.

And since it appears that this was close to a large metro area (ie. D/FW), it is not at all uncommon for agency personnel to have contacts with people in other agencies.  There is a LOT of inter-agency cooperation.

The part of the article that makes no sense is where he is whining about not having the funds to conduct business because of how long the alleged incident had dragged out.  This says he is yet another fool that is on over his head with credit card spending.  He is ALSO precisely the sort of fool that ruins things for people...

He is talking about getting maximum churn out of his CL. Many will overpay the CC by 6 figures+.
