Experian has a specialist on my account and will not remove old addresses.    I just disputed some items to try to remove the attachments to one of the old address as a test.  EX said online when I just checked:  This Address was reported to Experian by XXXXxxx and 15 other companies (you can click on the link and get the names). Please contact the company to verify that they have your correct address. Once the new information is reported to Experian, you will be able to submit your dispute online. For further questions, you may contact us at 1-855-414-6048.   I informed them that I am now going to also look at the record @LexisNexis.com to see if I could scare them (DID NOT WORK) and also said how can you verify a record that is not complete as per the Bankruptcy Courts and LexisNexis.

I will keep writing letters and never give up of course but we will see. I was thinking that holidays time would be best for reps in the USA (mine at Experian would be in the mood to play nice or on holiday so I could find someone new.)

I did get TU and EQ to remove all the address attached to bad credit after calling over the last 5 workdays with TU and EQ was Immediate (THIS was DONE BY PHONE).    I am now sending the remove letters to TU and EQ that no longer have address attachments.

HOW to get the Free credit reports for TU and EQ I get from my CreditKarma.com and pulling up credit report under the bar graph and clicking on the 2 different companies and again clicking on the credit report tab.  This is a great tool for verifications of removes once you understand the format  (this updates every 4 or 5 days so you have to wait for that).

How to get a Free Credit report for Experian is by getting the free account and if you navigate around long enough you can find all of your credit report for verifications as needed.  ( this updates quickly most of the time )

855-414-6048 to dispute on the phone with Experian.  Anyone want to call Sam directly at Experian and give him a busy day 469-675-5039 maybe he will quit!

Patrick:  As a matter of course, CreditBoards does not recommend nor endorse phone dispute with any of the CRA"s.   It is in extremely poor taste to publicly post a phone number of a representative of any CRA.   After a few calls, the phone number will be changed.

I sent out a validation letter to a medical collection on the 1st. today the 17th i got an alert that a new account was added. The account was never removed to my knowledge but it is the same Collection but now the balance says zero.  Why would they do this? I haven't received any response from them.   Should I wait the 30 days to see if they remove, or move forward with another letter?  Thanks for any response

      Hi All,

I have searched this board to identify a singular thread that nails down the personal experience of members who follow the AZERO but ONE credit card utilization balance strategy  Unfortunately, I have not found any expansive explanation behind who came up with this strategy, how to best implement it, and its success rate among credit card holders.

To my understanding, the gist of the AZERO but ONE strategy is to zero out the balance on all credit cards in one's profile, but carry a balance on one. I do hope I have this right, because I am trying to take put it into practice (along with great payment history and credit limits) to reach the 800+ club.

What I am not sure about are the following:

Does the balance of the one card have a carry a statement balance (will incur an interest for non-zero APR card)? Does the balance of the one card have to carry a current card balance (money spent to-date) at the end of the closing date? Does the balance of the one card have to be < 30 %?
I utilize the spreadsheet from the following site to play around with the card balances - Card Utilization Calculator. Ideally, I like to keep my card utilization between 7%-10% max.  However, when I average out all my cards in the calculator, the total utilization rate naturally comes to less than %1.  At that point, I am not sure if having < 1% is considered to be so negligible to the Fico scoring system that it makes it appear that I really don't utilize my cards at all.

As an experiment, I plan on carrying a 30% current balance on one of my cards for one billing cycle, out of 7 cards, which will bring my total utilization ratio to about 7%.

That said, does anyone have any experience or insight to this approach they are willing to share?

I've got Citi AA Miles card from 2019 still with same credit limit I opened with.  Denied again for CLI, reason given was:

However, I wonder if that is the full story since they have BK loss with me that is off my credit reports now?  Are they obligated to cite that in their reasons if part of their decision making process?

My inquiries on Equifax they referred to:

I am trying to help a friend out that does not have access to the internet. He said the templates are nothing more than pre-done forms to remove or amend credit errors. I have been looking for hours. I was wondering if anything can either attach or tell me where to find them.

      Thank you!!

Earlier this month I was fortunate enough to be able to take care of some obligations - it's a big chunk of everything and I'm looking forward to (hoping for?) a nice score bump.

Of course, my timing was horrible and all the payments came through just after the closing date, so now I have to wait an entire billing cycle to see the effects (which will be the 1st or 2nd week of October). Time is moving sloooowly...

I just wish they would report when the payment was made instead of waiting the full billing cycle - that is, I wish credit reporting was in real time and not batch cycle.
