Ten bucks is ten bucks...BofA offer

Recommended Posts

Had an email from them that is offering a ten dollar credit if you downloaded their app and made a payment using the app.  There was a cut-off date in December to make the payment and it was a one-time-only sort of thing.  Not a huge fan of the financial apps, but hey, ten bucks IS ten bucks.

I often just delete all of that sort of email unread, and am guessing I am not alone in that regard...so, figured the heads-up might get someone else ten bucks to put towards their mortgage or whatever LOL!

I've already done this.  When I get to California in a couple of weeks I'm going to help my parents get the credits, and then take a $5 cut from each.

That's another $10 toward the mortgage.

By way of update...the credit FINALLY posted to the account.

Reminds me of why I prefer using AXP...they tend to post the bonuses and such far more rapidly even when the offer says to allow up to 90 days (or other broad number of days).

It's unlike me not to track something like this.  I have no evidence of the original offer, and no $10.  Comprehensive failure on my part.

email that I had was either late September or the first few days of October.  Not sure if you had replied to an offer that was sent at the same time as mine had been received.  If that helps with digging through the old emails...

Thank you, but the evidence is truly gone.

I did find an email I sent to myself to remind me to decide if I should enroll in my employer's deferred comp plan for 2019, but even if I had seen it before annual enrollment ended I would have just punted again this year.  I'm probably going to hate myself later for passing this up.
