Friends of mine are just over a year post discharge and need a new car. They can lease as they are older and don’t drive much. My question is what route is the best to go when it comes to this? Lease new... but used...?

they don’t want to spend crazy $$$ but the need something new as there current vehicle is on it’s been last leg and it will be stupid to put more $$ into the old car.

Thanks in advance

Leasing is for people who can write it off, or who get (and can afford) new cars every 36 months since you save on the sales taxes etc.

Leasing is not for old people that just filed BK and don't drive a lot.  And leasing used vehicles is not for anyone with a financial IQ.

Thay need to buy something cheap and reliable.
