Credit card debt

Please help need advice I’m drowning in credit card debt I’m currently late on several cards pretty sure they are now closed I’ve called cc companies to claim hardship. I was thinking about credit counseling. I don’t know what option I will even have am I totally screwed?

I would contact a non profit credit counseling service. They can get you on a payment plan and have your credit card interest reduced. Here is a link to a good one:

Greenpath generally has agreements in place with creditors to reduce interest rates, stop (and in some cases remove) late and over limit fees, and to cease collection activity as long as your plan is active.  Each lender is different, some reduce interest rates to zero, others are not as generous.  

But..the difference is often enough to bring your plan payment down to something manageable. 

Greenpath also offers budgeting help and advice.

👆 is what they do. Is call them and just inquire. We are right under $10k left and hubby’s score is 750 and mine 730 compared to what it was previously...650’s.
