I got approved for the Cash Rewards card at the end of March this year.

I noticed the blue "increase your credit line" link the other day.

How long after approval should you as for a CLI?

I'd shoot for 91 days. Especially since it's a SP.

I requested a total CL of $15,000 and got it!

I've had the card for over 3 months and 90 days.

$8,000 >>> $15,000

Yea Heg u left money on the table but u can get em in  round 2 = 91 days.

Or you can try again right away if you're OK with increased odds of manual review as the hyperlink will remain active until the nightly refresh is run.  Time to eligibility to reapply doesn't appear to be fixed either as I've had the link reappear about a month after a successful request although IIRC that was post-immediate approval on that particular card.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone with two or more Bank of America cards who got a recent CLI...  have they stolen any portion of your increase from another card?

Long before this thread started I stopped requesting CLIs on my cards because they'd just rob from Peter to pay Pablo.

Thanks everyone! 10K bump to a credit line of $25,600! This will help with utilization % and our home buying next month!

Note- It DID give verbiage indicating a credit report would be pulled. We are sure that they are ONLY doing softs with this new announcement?

I have two cards and my CLI request on one card resulted in an increase of less than I asked for. They did not steal anything from the other card.

Thank you.

So far:

Stole: 0

Didn't steal: 1

Requested online to go from $23,500 to $50k, received notice of TU & EXP frozen via USPS, called in to tell them EXP isn't frozen, HP & CLI to $36k. No SP for me, but it was worth the HP. Trying to get this card up hasn't been quick, but has been steady.

Congratulations on all the increases, y'all😊
